A breathtaking spring-flowering bulb, Camassia leichtlinii ssp. suksdorfii produces tall, stately spikes of starry, deep violet-blue blooms, adding striking vertical interest to garden borders and naturalistic plantings. Its flowers open in succession from the bottom up, creating a long-lasting display that attracts bees and other pollinators.
Native to North American meadows and moist grasslands, this hardy perennial thrives in rich soil and is ideal for naturalising in wildflower meadows, borders, and woodland edges. Reliable and low-maintenance, Camassia suksdorfii flourishes even in heavier soils where other bulbs may struggle.
