‘Summerwine’ offers a rich blend of dusky pink to wine-red flower heads, maturing gracefully with hints of soft rose. Its soft colour palette pairs beautifully with grasses and late-summer perennials. Blooms hold their colour well when cut, making it a great addition to floral arrangements.

A tidy, upright habit to about 60 cm tall, forming a spreading clump over time. Grey-green, finely cut foliage is aromatic and stays neat throughout the season.

Growing conditions:

Full sun preferred

Likes well-drained soil; tolerates dry or poor soils

Drought-hardy once established

Hardy.

Great for: dry gardens, summer borders, cutting gardens, and wildlife-friendly spaces.

Excellent as a cut flower, both fresh and dried. Deadhead to encourage repeat flowering.
