This subtropical beauty bears masses of butterfly-shaped blue and violet flowers from late spring into autumn. With its arching stems and delicate, airy habit, it makes a unique statement in warm-climate gardens or large pots.

Can reach 1.5–2 m high and wide. Semi-deciduous to evergreen depending on conditions.

Growing conditions:

Full sun to part shade

Prefers rich, well-drained soil

Needs warmth and shelter; frost-tender in colder areas

Best overwintered under cover in frosty zones

Great for: subtropical gardens, large containers, attracting butterflies.
