A beautiful, vigorous NZ native climber producing masses of starry white flowers in late spring to early summer, followed by silky seedheads. Its glossy green foliage provides dense cover, making it excellent for screening or wild fences.

Grows quickly to 4–6 m and beyond with support. Evergreen in milder areas, semi-deciduous in colder parts of NZ.

Growing conditions:

Sun to part shade

Moist but well-drained soil

Tolerates frost and coastal conditions

Hardy throughout NZ

Uses: native gardens, fences, pergolas, pollinators.
