A hardy, twining perennial known for its delicate, bell-shaped flowers that range from pale green to purple. Codonopsis pilosula has a mild medicinal use, traditionally valued in herbal medicine, but also adds charm to the garden with its fine, airy texture.Grows to 1.5–2 m long, often used as a climbing vine or in hanging baskets.
Growing conditions:
Full sun to part shade
Prefers moist, well-drained soil
Frost-hardy, can tolerate a range of conditions
