Trifolium ochroleucum, or yellow clover, is a perennial legume with a gentle character and surprising ecological value. Its soft, pale yellow flower heads sit neatly above a cushion of trifoliate foliage, blooming from late spring into early summer. Low and neat in growth, it weaves quietly through meadow plantings or wildflower areas, enriching the soil as it fixes nitrogen a subtle but powerful act of garden regeneration. Bees are particularly drawn to its nectar-rich blooms, making it an excellent support plant for pollinator-friendly spaces.
