Phlox subulata Pink - Red Eye

Phlox subulata 'Pink with Red Eye' forms a vibrant carpet of soft pink blooms, each accented by a vivid red centre, blooming in early to mid-spring. This low-growing, evergreen perennial spreads readily to form a dense mat, perfect for softening the edges of borders, spilling over walls, or adding seasonal colour to rockeries.

Native to eastern North America, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, and is drought tolerant once established. A favourite of early pollinators.

Typically reaches 10-15 cm tall, spreading to 50 cm or more.
