Seed Garlic - Printanor - Organically Grown

Printanor is a classic French softneck garlic valued for its reliability, generous bulb size, and excellent storage life. The bulbs are smooth and white with a tidy, well filled shape, containing numerous plump cloves arranged in layers. The flavour is balanced and versatile, full enough to stand out in cooking but smooth and rounded rather than overly hot.

Selected in France for strong production and adaptability, Printanor has become widely grown in mild climates where it consistently forms large bulbs and cures well for long storage. As a softneck garlic it does not produce a flower stalk, directing its energy into bulb development and producing dependable yields.

Growing Conditions

Plant cloves in late autumn to early winter in fertile, free-draining soil enriched with organic matter. Prefers full sun and steady moisture through winter and spring, followed by drier conditions as bulbs mature around Janurary. Frost hardy and well suited to a wide range of growing conditions.

Uses

An excellent all purpose kitchen garlic. Ideal for roasting, crushing into sauces and dressings, or storing for use through the cooler months.
