Digitalis Temple Bells

A distinctive foxglove cultivar featuring upright spires of creamy yellow, bell-shaped flowers with flared lips and lightly speckled throats. Flowering from late spring into early summer, 'Temple Bells' adds soft vertical structure and a warm glow to partially shaded areas. Bees are frequent visitors to its tubular blooms.
Forms a low rosette of broad green leaves and sends up flower spikes to 90 cm.
Origin: A cultivated selection of Digitalis species native to Europe and western Asia. All foxgloves contain digitalis compounds and are toxic if ingested.
Growing Conditions:
 Full sun to part shade
 Moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil
 Frost hardy throughout NZ

 Cottage-style borders, woodland edges, wildlife gardens
 Adds vertical interest and soft pastel colour
 Excellent for pollinator-friendly planting
