Artichoke is a productive softneck type that produces 10 or more cloves. The bulbs are typically smooth and slightly flattened, often wrapped in pale white skins that may carry faint purple or pink tones depending on the season.

This group is widely grown for its dependable yields and adaptability to a range of growing conditions. Because Artichoke garlic does not produce a flower stalk, the plant directs its energy into bulb formation, helping it develop full, good sized bulbs.

Artichoke garlic is valued for its balanced flavour which strong enough to give dishes character, yet smooth and versatile for everyday cooking.
